Where to buy your domain and where to get your hosting.

A couple of comments here… Please read them – This is VERY important.

Where you get your domain is far less important than your hosting.

In the last year or two, I have bought domains from a number of registrars and have not had problems. I admit that I searched for discounted pricing and then this led me to move most of them when they came up for renewal – Again, because I am cheap.

In truth, you will save time if you simply get your domain from wherever you get your hosting.

Where to get your hosting is a huge decision.

You could simply do a google search for “top hosting” or “best hosting companies” but what if those results are rigged? The big boys can easily afford to pay for rankings in the SERPS.

In the 14 years that I have been doing online marketing and helping clients build their websites, I have seen and even personally used some terrible hosting companies. I do not want to bad-mouth some of the biggest hosting companies here on this page, so I will simply tell you who I suggest that you use.
